 Flood Solid Color Deck & Siding Stain is a premium exterior stain for new work
and a problem-solver for recoating old applications. It is a unique mixture
of Flood's Easy Mix E-B bonding oil, and a high quality latex paint. This blend
of oil and latex creates an oil primer and latex solid
hide color coat in one product. The blend of oil and latex creates a mildew-resistant
solid hide stain that assures superior penetration and adhesion with excellent
flexibility, breathability and color retention - even on difficult substrates
where other coating have failed. A revolutionary

Stain is guaranteed for 5 years against peeling on decks
and vertical surfaces and 15 years against cracking, peeling
and blistering on siding. |
Why Blend Oil & Latex Together? |
The small Oil molecule enables a stain
to penetrate well into porous or chalky surfaces to provide excellent adhesion.
The large Latex molecule gives the cured stain film
superior breathability, flexibility and color retention.
The combination of Oil and Latex provides
a finished coating that gives the best of both: a long-lasting
beautiful finish that will adhere to even the most challenging
surface. |
1. In the can and when first applied, oil (yellow)
and latex (red) are mixed together in water (blue). |

2. After the paint has been applied, the water begins to evaporate,
squeezing the latex and oil molecules closer together. As this happens,
the oil molecules move into the surface, and the latex molecules
are attracted to each other on top of the surface. |

3. When the water
has evaporated and the film feels dry, the oil molecules adhere
deep in the surface while the latex molecules bond tightly together
to form a strong, flexible color coat. |

The
Flood Company warrants Flood Solid Color Deck & Siding Stain against
peeling on decks for 5 years and against cracking, peeling, and
blistering on siding for 15 years from the date of purchase if
it is applied to a properly prepared surface according to label
directions.
If Flood Solid Color Deck & Siding Stain fails to
perform as described above, The Flood Company will, at its option,
provide an equivalent amount of new product at no charge or refund
the purchase price. This warranty does not apply to problems
caused by the alteration of this product, accident, misuse, improper
storage, abuse, or neglect. This warranty does not include labour
or cost for the application of any stain and in no event shall.
The Flood Company is not responsible for damages
in excess of the purchase price. Claims must be made in writing
