Raised in Walls Alive -literally- Greg has always been a part of the business since his parents founded it in 1969. Growing up in the store gave him an intuitive, hands-on understanding of paint and design few can match. Co-founder of C2 Paint, Greg created a product rooted in uncompromising quality, best in class performance, and exceptional value. Greg describes the process of creating a national brand – of anything- as taking one’s doctorate in business. Scottish enough to insist on luxury without excess, Greg believes beautiful design should still leave room for a very good bottle of Bordeaux wine (which he’s always happy to share). His aesthetic leans to the romantic, Western European and art and architecture, where he has travelled extensively all his adult life.

Third generation and proof that the third time really is the charm, Samantha officially joined Walls Alive as Owner in 2023, having grown up immersed in the world of paint, pattern, and interiors. With a mother who is an interior decorator, she comes by her love of design honestly. Her creative background spans culinary and pastry school, fine art with a major in printmaking, and over a decade decorating film and television sets, bringing a richly layered perspective to every project. Eclectic yet discerning in her approach, Samantha loves uncovering the perfect pattern, just-right colour, or unexpected finishing touch that makes a space feel effortless and personal.

With more than 35 years at Walls Alive, Greg brings an unparalleled depth of technical colour knowledge and practical expertise to every project. A true paint and colour authority, he’s known for his ability to solve complex challenges and guide clients toward beautifully considered results. Greg’s strength lies in pairing precision with intuition—whether he’s dialing in the perfect colour-match, advising on finishes, or helping transform a space from ordinary to exceptional. Trusted by designers, builders, and homeowners alike, his dedication to craftsmanship and detail has made him an uncompromising cornerstone of the Walls Alive team.

Pam officially joined Walls Alive in 2018, though she’s been circling the store most of her life. A broadcaster by trade, she funded a 15-year radio career by running a painting company with her brother. A maximalist to her core, Pam has never met a colour she didn’t love and firmly believes “too much” is merely a polite guideline. Always ready with a laugh or a bold idea, she brings fearless creativity - and plenty of colour - to every project.

An architectural technologist turned interior design enthusiast, Angelina joined Walls Alive in 2020. A true design chameleon, she moves effortlessly between classic forms, rich textures, and ever-evolving colour obsessions. Her unfailing design eye leads our team in choosing our stunning in-stock wallpaper – easily the largest collection in Western Canada. Guaranteed at some point during your visit, Ange’s laughter will joyously echo through the store.

An Interior Design graduate from Mount Royal College, Charmaine has been our resident style maven since 2021. She’s fluent in kitchen design, a wizard at display styling, and unmatched when it comes to layering patterns. Charmaine immediately proffers sweetness and empathy, but her substantial mastery for design transports our clients to exciting outcomes. An enduring love of all things well designed, she brings nuance, confidence, and her signature magic to every space.

With a background in home staging and a sharp eye for what makes spaces shine, Nichole has been part of Walls Alive since 2022. Known for turning “nice” into wow, her rooms tell stories rich in mood and just the right amount of drama. She thrives in dark, romantic classics, expertly layering colour and texture to create spaces that feel both bold and inviting.

Modern, earthy, and a self-professed Kelly Wearstler admirer, Nicole joined the team in 2022. With a background as an Interior Design Technologist, her work leans toward clean, contemporary spaces layered with warmth and texture.

Refined yet relaxed, Nicole creates interiors that balance restraint with personality—intentional, modern, and effortlessly livable.

Our newest team member, Deirdre brings interior design experience shaped by painting and drawing studies, global travel, and all things French. A true colour aficionado, she delights in breaking down how colour transforms a space.

She is the person who sees all 7,000 shades of white—and knows exactly which one you need. Thoughtful, intuitive, and just a little dangerous at the paint rack, Deirdre brings depth, confidence, and cohesion to every project.
